Boxes and Crates
07:35
|
|||
Woke up this morning to the sound of rain
Hitting so softly my window pain
Go outside and see the grey
Oh, what a dark and dreary day, it is
On the sidewalk, go to the place
So sad, but peaceful in it's own way
Over the hill and see the tree
I walk down so I can see, again
I don't think I can get away
From these stones I see everyday
Every time I move a bit closer
My tree just gets older
So I pass through the gates
Walking over buried boxes and crates
The one you knew, the ones you didn't
Feel bad about the ones you hate
See the piles of the dead
Flowers that make up your bed
Sit a while and feel
The rain fall around you
I don't think I can get away
From these stones I see everyday
Every time I move a bit closer
My tree just gets older
You just sit there on the flowers
Now it's been 4 hours
In the peace and the quiet
There is not a sound for miles
Suddenly the trees roots
Come up and wrap over you
In a little wooden chamber
With dirt over

Pit
04:01
|
|||
Step over the pit, covered in leaf and bramble
As I fall, try and reach for a handhold
Scratch the sides, trying to slow my descent
As I fall I realize this could be my bookend
My bookend
Nothing
Is what I see
Just me
I can fly
But I'm going the wrong way, going down
Into the ground, Underground
Underground
Underground
Underground
Underground
They say that life is supposed to flash before your eyes
But i saw nothing like this to my surprise
Race towards the bottom, race into the unknown
I guess the next person here will find a pile of my bones
My bones
Nothing
Is what I see
Just me
I can fly
But I'm going the wrong way, going down
Into the ground, Underground
Underground
Underground
Underground
Underground

Drinking Lead
02:27
|
|||
I don't see how you could mean
Anything more to me
You're not, don't think that it's coming
Into my head
Like I'm drinking lead
Dumb me down, don't help me up please-don't want your grease
Left, right
Don't come near me tonight
Because I just need some more time
To jump into the bushes
Where you can't see
Don't make your pushes, no oh no
Jump, jive
Make me feel more dead than alive
Try and jump away but all the bloods flowed
To my brain from my legs
So I don't fall asleep from your haze
One of these day, it's gonna happen
I'm gonna collapse and, die
